Short and sweet is the them of this email. Im currently racing against time as the water damage on my phone spreads.

The Still Small Voice
After 8 months of being a missionary the biggest difference I’ve come to perceive is the frequency of spiritual promptings. This week I had two experiences where we were walking in to a lesson and out of nowhere I had a prompting to continue walking straight l, or to take a turn off the path. In both of these occasions it was as if we were draw to specific houses. The first we walked almost directly to one house and knocked on the door. The door opened and it was the son of two in active members who wasn’t ever baptized, and wants to be baptized and serve a mission, he’s 20. The other house we knocked on the door and no one answered, but that still small voice said keep knocking they answer. I knocked one more time and out came the sweetest family I’ve seen who’s so open to learn.

Island Update
This week I had some new but not so new experiences. We went back to the island and experienced the ocean breeze from a historic fort locatad right on the oceanfront. As well I found myself reliving my first day as I picked up my second (son) from Recife for his first day as a missionary.

A Obra Do Senhor (The Lords Work)
When I think of God’s power I think of the ocean, a force unstoppable by human forces, but at the same time a beautiful peaceful lapse of of the tide. As time goes on and continues I feel more and more the use of God’s hand in my life, each weakness He takes control, each shortcoming, He strengthens, and when I’m still not enough He shows the path and lights the way. Showing that He’s that author of this work and he will do things that are seemingly impossible.

High: We had the most people at church tis week that I’ve ever had.
Low: Phone got cooked on p-day.
