What’s up? My comps throw up
1+1= You’re Screwed
Spending this week in the “solitary confinement” of our house has been great, I’ve only started going a tad crazy, my comp doesn’t seem to be liking loud abnoxious concerts that I’ve been performing for him on my guitar. (I think he should at least be paying me for the live entertainment).
This week has been going well in my recuperation, I’m walking around and I’m out of pain and discomfort…
Well it just so happened that the moment I was able to start cooking my own food, the Lord thought it was a good time to drop off another blessing. My comp out of nowhere hit a 103f fever started throwing up, going diarrhea and, and I had to start scrambling to help him. And just as I was helping him I got hit by the same storm of diarrhea, and discomfort, and we both laid there and couldn’t help the other. Luckily I had called a member to come help us and he saved us.

Just Water
Thankfully we’ve had an awesom opportunity to teach and baptize our friend Rafael. This experience was way different than normal. We spent most of the time teaching him online and to be honest we only met twice in person before he was baptized. Teaching him in the moment was such a blessing and he gave us purpose to keep going and to get up and try each day. I know that through this experience he’s learned so much and grown his faith, but at the same time its been a miracle for us, and a moment where I’ve really seen the hand of God in his life and mine.

What’s That
I’m not sure the best way to end this email and I don’t have something thats pressing my mind that I should say. So I’ll leave ya’ll with this. It’s always a mindset, it’s always a choice, and it’s always up to you, will you be miserable today, or will you look for the good things. When you’re 100% focused on the savior your mindest will change, so far my mission has been full of “problems” but in each one I had great experiences that “made my mission great”. Theres always Joy to be found, even in the pain and even through the difficulties. I’ve never had an experience so much joy having so many complications in my.
