Elder Miranda Final Boss
You guys are probably wonder why im talking about elder miranda… our pdays were literally like 3 days in between so i dont have anything to talk about so yall are getting some older stories. Elder Miranda and i were walking past and barber shop with some rough looking youth, they all had died red hair and had the gang tats, these guys definitely werent the type of guys we are trying to talk to normally we stear clear. In this moment they were playing fuseball, As we passed by Elder Miranda said to me, something along the lines of watch this. He ran back and went inside thay barber shop as I followed. He then preceded to day that if the two of them togeth couldnt beat him they would have to listen to our lesson. Well he ended up good boying them and Whooped them… bad. Like really bad. Like it was embarrassing on their part. And we had a good lesson with them afterwards, sometimes the gangstas just gotta be forced to be humble.
Purse Of Wonders
Sitting in the church after a long 24h fast I was extremely hungry. After the meeting was over the smell of sandwiches wafted close to me. As I looked up looking for the location of origin I saw a lady pull a sandwich out of her purse… yeah like a little hand bag 👜 like this. But not just a sandwich a sandwich without wrapping nothing just a raw sandwich. To my suprise she had more than one and I ended up with one. What a blessing, im not sure whatbit was made with but it was good. Great way to end the fast. This isn’t it, the lady pulled out a knife from her purse and cut the sandwiches too. Not like a butter knife but a steak knife. Very interesting but it gets the job done i guess.
Miracle In The Moment
This week I had an exchange with Elder Pitanga, we’ve lived in the same house this whole time but this was the first time we were actual comps for a day. It just so happened that a lady that he had been teaching for 2 months and hadn’t been able to come to church once because she worked at the market. In that moment I promised her the blessings that if she made the effort to go to church and make the sacrifice God would provide. In that moment the spirit was incredibly strong and she began to cry and said this sunday she would go. In that moment Elder Pitanga felt like he should have her call on of the guys who worked next to her at the market. In that moment when she called they not only said they could cover for her but that he had two kids that were already trained with and could work the stand for her every sunday for a small cost. One thing I’ve realized is the lord never opens the red Sea for us he waits until we act to then guide us opening little by little until we cross.
