Whats up fam, this week im going to keep it brief but just know im doing good and i appreciate the prayers and support.
8 Years In The Making
Around 8 years ago I suffered a trauma in my front teeth, resulting in the fracture of my front two teeth, unbeknownst to me this event was the catalyst for a growth of bacteria that I can best describe as a abscess that surrounded the root of each tooth. This abscess had been silently growing for around 8 years gradually collecting bacteria, wearing and weakening the underlying bone and teeth. Unfortunately this had been happening so gradually that my body had been adapting to it. Recently I got hit by an elbow in the face, this was basically the spark to the gas that had been getting poured 🫗 for 8 long years. The result was a week of pain a week of appointments lots and lots of medications and lots of 2 inch needles in my face.Â
The Lord Prepares A Way
Unfortunately when the pain initiated  a week and a half ago I had grown accustomed to teeth pain coming and going because of the abscess that had grown after all it had been growing that way for 8 years since the accident. Because of this I toughed out the pain for two days before I couldn’t any more, making the situation worse. In this process I lost my phone as well. It’s gone forever (left it in the Volkswagen Van taxi). In this process I found out I also got transferred. I was going to a new area in the city and was going to be a part of a trio. This was key. Because of the exact time when the situation worsened, I was put in some other random situations that factored such as the length of this transfer 7 weeks compared to a normal 6 week transfer.
The result was I was able to stay at the mission office for a week recovering and accessing the better dentists, at the same time I was able to get another phone from the office. Because I had been put in a trio my companions were able to stay in their area and work without me, as the secretarys and senior missionaries took care of me, and finally as I began to recover and went to my new area I had only been out for a week and just so happened that this transfer would be 7 weeks so I would end up to spend the full 6 weeks with the companions and area I had been assigned. Also the new area is a lot closer to the dentist and for all of my follow up appointments it will make it a lot easier.
One thing I’ve noticed in my life is a clear pattern, when something like this happens its only a test to see if your really prepared to receive the blessing in store. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers, I’m so grateful for you all and this opportunity I have to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, that truly through Gods we can be receive all that the father has.Â
Romans 8 defines it bestÂ
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
